Marcel Verheijen is an innovation leader with 20+ years of experience scaling tech ventures in Europe and the U.S. His expertise spans deep-tech, AI, mobility, smart cities, Industry 4.0, and sustainability-driven growth, with a strong track record in global go-to-market execution and cross-border partnership building. As Business Development Manager at EIT Digital’s Silicon Valley Hub, Marcel enabled European and U.S. scale-ups to land and expand across both markets, bridging innovation ecosystems between Europe and California. This experience inspired him to co-found Amplify Now Global, a platform dedicated to supporting deep-tech and AI ventures with market entry, investor access, and scale-up coaching. He has also worked closely with leading universities and research institutions, helping translate cutting-edge IP into commercial opportunities in the U.S. In addition to founding and serving as CTO of an e-commerce company, Marcel takes on fractional executive roles as CMO, COO, CTO, and CEO. He advises and mentors startups, scale-ups, and corporate innovators, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution. Marcel also serves as a board member of the World of Connected AI (WCA), a non-profit organization that fosters collaboration among technology companies, solution providers, innovators, and academia. Its mission is to drive the successful adoption of AI-powered connected products and services worldwide.
